Establishing a business in Japan for a European

Any suggestions for a guide to business development for a European in Japan?

Asking on behalf of my sis. She'll soon be tasked with establishing partnerships and organising recruitment in Japan for a global leisure corporation. Do you know of any good books or websites which might assist in matters of etiquette and protocol?

I've participated in some Japan America Society events that were pretty good for business relationships. It looks like there is a Japan Society in the UK as well. I have no idea if it's similar or how useful it is for business, though.
