New York State Wineries

Can anyone recommend a particular New York State winery? I'm sorting through them all now, and there are so many! I would prefer one with a bed and breakfast accomodation either on site (do they do that?) or quite nearby. Attractions nearby would preferrably also lean towards nature or museums rather than shopping.
I'm kind of looking at Finger Lakes, maybe the Seneca area. There's just so. much. info. to consume, it seems hard to pick between wineries and lodging.

Been to Keuka Lake on a bike tour. Dr. Franks was worth a visit. Stop by the Hammodsport Tavern for some good food and drink, see some airplanes at the Curtiss Aviation Museum.

If you're looking at the Finger Lakes, you can get good mileage out of either Seneca or Cayuga lake. Both have a plethora of wineries, both have lots of little Bed & Breakfasts in the area (more along Cayuga, in my experience), and both have a lot of nature and/or museum things to do on the side. (Watkins Glen is a lovely hike; the Ithaca area has more waterfalls than I can count off the top of my head.) My recommendation though is not to try to do both lakes in the same day - the drive between the two is long enough to put a damper on the day.
