Shopping between Los Angeles and Vegas
April 11, 2011 8:01 PM
What is the best (outlet) shopping between the Los Angeles area and Los Vegas? My friends want to stop at one place and spend a few hours shopping.
Which one is the "best" is subjective and depending on the stores you want. There's one right at the NV/CA border in Primm. There are two in Las Vegas. North / South. Personally, I found the one at logicpunk linked to is sort of meh.

I like the Primm mall, there's a ramen place in there!

Primm is awesome. They have a great variety of shops and the sales tax is probably way lower than anything in California.

I haven't had a lot of luck at the Primm mall, but the ramen place is awesome.

I'm not the biggest fan of outlet malls, but I like the one at Desert Hills because it has a few stores that I actually like (Coach Mens, Fossil, Tumi, AX) instead of the usual collection of fifty places to ignore.
(And Primm is nice, now that they've finally got a sheriff.)
