Looking for an iPhone text editor with advanced search and replace.

I'm looking for a text editor or word processor for the iPhone that can do things like search for and remove newlines, or replace tabs with five spaces or vice versa.
All the editors I've seen for the iPhone that can do search and replace can only do it with visible characters. I'd love full regex ability, but I'll settle for search and replace with some of the more common ASCII control characters.
I want it to be usable offline, so remote shells and Web pages are out. I am also for various reasons not going to jailbreak my iPhone.

Response by poster: Thanks, Jedicus. Not resolved, but at least now I have a webpage to compulsively check.

There's Textastic for the iPad, which has a search and replace function that supports newline and tab characters. You might try upvoting the iPhone version suggestion.
Beyond that? Well, you could try copy-pasting your drafts into ExecScript's regex function, but I'm not sure how long an input it can handle nor if it's even possible to copy the output back onto the clipboard.
