How Can I Make a VMWare VM from a Laptop Using SEE?

How might I be able to make a VMWare VM for Fusion Desktop using the VMWare converter with a WinXP laptop protected by Symantec Endpoint Encryption? The VM I made using default settings crashes at the point I'm entering my SEE credentials with a memory error.

If you can, I would disable / uninstall SEE if it is at all possible prior to making the vmware image, if you don't have access to the original workstation anymore, you may be out of luck.

Here is the admin page from symantec on how to manually remove it.
