What was the name of the character in the SNL sketch where Kevin Nealon was a TV interviewer, he'd keep questioning guests until they cry, and then he'd make a strange satisfied face at the camera?

What was the name of the character in the SNL sketch where Kevin Nealon was a TV interviewer, he'd keep questioning guests until they cry, and then he'd make a strange satisfied face at the camera?

I remember it was like a fake ad for a interview special like Barbara Walters. I think there were 2 or 3 of them, and I remember in one the guest wouldn't cry, so he had to use some kind of gas, and he put on a gas mask.

I'm trying to remember the name of the character to see if I can find the clips on YouTube or somewhere else, and I'm all out of luck searching on my own, so I figure this is the right place to ask - this is my first Ask MeFi question BTW, so thanks for your help! (Bonus points if you can find a link to a clip)

I can't find a direct reference to it on Google, but I'm pretty sure the character was (unsurprisingly) named "Bob Walters".

Best answer: The Bob Waltman Special. (I found it by using google's advanced search for "Kevin Nealon" on the SNL Transcripts site.

Response by poster: Nailed it! Thanks - I knew it wouldn't take long for a sharp poster to catch that :)

Sure thing! Turns out there were two, which I'd forgotten.
