Japanese doll patterns in English?

I am interested Japanese-style doll-making, like amigurumi. I have seen a lot of great amigurumi crochet patterns, and hand-sewn felt doll patterns, and also waldorf-style large doll patterns, but they seem to be mostly only available in Japanese. Does anyone have a good source for these patterns in English? Any other suggestions for good sources of patterns for cute mascot dolls and otherwise?
I made a bunch of these creepy cute amigurumi for my friends for Christmas. Everyone loved them! And there are lots of other amigurumi pattern books listed as related items.
I've made a few of the dolls from this softies kit, too. They are so adorable!

Check out Ravelry for knitting/crochet patternstuff. If you're a yarnie, it's pretty indispensable. Searchable pattern database, forums, and groups -- including not a few of them specifically for those who like amigurumi stuff.

I found a bunch of amigurumi books in Amazon:
Also, I found a free preview of another Aranzi Aronzo's book, called Cute Stuff, and Craftzine has a free pattern from the same designer.
