Looking for an old (1998-ish) book that was published on the web called "Beyond the New Silk Road"

It may have been called "Along the New Silk Road" This was a biographical story someone had self-published on the web. I was reading it back around 1998-2000. I don't remember exactly when. It was not very well written but it was fairly interesting. It was a guy writing about his journeys in Asia and his spiritual quest. I believe (though I never finished it) it culminated with him meeting Sathya Sai Baba in India.

I know it's a long shot to try to track down a book that was self-published on the web in the late 90's but I thought I'd give it a shot. I went through a period back then when I was reading a lot of self-published material online and I'm trying to track some of it down. I was recently pleased to find that one author whose book I'd read online and quite enjoyed actually got published.

Best answer: It is "along the new silk road" by Mark Grant. If you search for this exact phrase (including double quotes) on Google, you may be able to find it quickly. Best luck!

Best answer: I found it on amazon but it's not free. Along the new silk road. If you search on torrents and scribd.com or docstoc.com you may find it.
