Chicago transit data art

Do you remember this? A Chicago artist collected data on his commute on the CTA for several months — I think the time the train came, maybe some other details like where it stopped on the platform — and then created a visualization of the data. The final chart was done by hand with paint, not on a computer.

This was probably a year or two ago. I don't remember where I saw it — Gapers Block or the CTA Tattler, probably — but I've been Googling and I can't find the artist's blog where he described this anymore.

Best answer: Probably "The Sweet Spot" by Jonathan Gitelson. I remember seeing it on my friend's Reader blog.

Response by poster: Oh, man, that's it! Thanks — I'd given up hope of ever finding it again. I have the Reader blogs in my feed reader so I'm sure that's where I came across it too.
