Pretty Poison?

TaxonomyFilter: What is this flower?

The name plate for the stand of blossoms was missing. It's in a more than somewhat neglected poisonous plant garden; I'm not sure it belongs there.

I thought they looked a lot like a Texas bluebonnet, which turns out to be the Lupinus texensis so I wasn't far off. Interesting. I wonder if they are poisonous also.
