How to preset crossfades in a playlist?

Is there a music player software that lets you preset different kinds of crossfades for each track in a playlist? (Mac)
I'm running the music for a theatre show. I want to set up a playlist so I can just press NEXT when the next track is due to be cued. But I want different tracks to crossfade differently (eg/ "1sec fadeout + 5sec fade in"; "10sec crossfade"; etc.), and have those settings preset.
I'm looking for mac software. Preferably free, obviously, but willing to pay.

Many thanks Linn. QLab looks like it's exactly what I've always wanted but never knew existed! :-)

Oh dear. However good QLab is, I'll need to keep looking.
V2 comes in a free version, but needs osx10.5. I have 10.4. I could download V1, but there's no free version of V1 anymore so I'd have to fork out the big $ for a license. What's more, I only need this for a short project, and though you can buy short-term "rental licenses" for V2, you can't for V1. *pulls hair out!*
Anyone know of something similar?
