Most energetic, artsy scenes in Europe?

What European cities have the most bohemian, young, open, creative scenes/energy right now?
Barcelona seems to be all abuzz these days. I'm sure others will say more, but it was sure a fantastic place when I was there a few years ago.

Bristol seems to be buzzing with activity too, based on what my sister has been telling me.

I was just in Utrecht, Netherlands. It seems to have quite a respectable artsy/music/freaky scene going on.

I can't remember the podcast for the life of me, but I heard an interview recently about how Hamburg had a thriving arts scene and was competing with Berlin for German bohemian supremacy. But having never been there myself I could be totally wrong. That being said, I have been to Berlin and would agree with the others who have mentioned it above.

When I was in Berlin, everyone kept saying Potsdam had an up and coming scene due to the incredibly cheap housing and proximity to Berlin. I'm not sure if I'd call it "energetic and young", for that, head to Berlin proper.

Very true, would also recommend Paris and Frankfurt.
