Windows 7 Enterprise Problems

Install windows 7 install problems + can I install enterprise (with an enterprise key) from an ultimate disk?

This seems like a dumb question, but I'm a mac guy and I'm not very familiar with the verious Win7 versions. But, I'm installing it in boot camp for a project I need to do, and it will be handy to have.

I have a (perfectly legal) Win7 enterprise key and disk, but the disk must be a little too scratched, because when I go to install, it freezes on 0% extraction. I've tried making an image of the disk and re-burning it, but it won't complete.

So, where do I go from here? I am thinking about torrenting a disk image and using my legit key. But, most of the torrents are for Win7 ultimate. So, will it work if I use a dlled disk image for ultimate and put in my legit enterprise key? Or do I need the enterprise disk for sure?

Any ideas on how I can fix this?

Thanks!

This guide says you can do it by monkeying with the ei.cfg file. Not tried it myself mind.

Download the trial from here and then use your key on it.

Activating a trial will probably work. If putting the key in during the install process gives you problems, let it complete with no key and then activate afterward. I'm not sure about Win7, but with Vista/Server2008 for some crazy reason if you put a real key into a trial install it will cause the installer to quit.
