Impact of the American Socialist Movement

What are some good articles on the impact the American socialist movement had on U.S. law and policy making?

Looking for internet-accessible articles on the impact the early 20th century American socialists had on U.S. policy and laws, especially the IWW and 1912 presidential run of Eugene Debs.

It's very sad that this has no answers.

Read Howard Zinn's People's History of the United States and My American Century by Studs Terkel. They'll discuss and have cited sources.

A thousand times ditto, clarknova.

I can't say for Internet sources> I remember thinking the IWW Wikipedia page was expansive, but not sure on the discussion of the long-term effect on US policy and laws.

There is a book called Eugene V. Debs: Citizen and Socialist, by Nick Salvatore, and it discusses the 1912 run at great length.
