How can I get Tuesdays work back?

Wrote for two hours day Tuesday, opened it to 'Save As' last night and then wrote for a few hours, saved it to same file name as Tuesdays file, wiped out Tuesdays writing. OpenOffice Writer. Can I get back Tuesdays work? Where are temp files stored, or versions, or whatever, anything that might help me here, help overcome my foolishness in not saving?
So I opened Tuesdays file because I wanted to use the same formatting, but instead of Save As immediately I overwrote Tuesdays writing and then, amazingly, foolishly, saved as same file name as Tuesdays writing. So I'm all happy to have worked last night but where oh where is Tuesdays work?

I'm not sure if it's possible. There's someone else with a similar problem here which suggests looking in \Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\OpenOffice.org\3\user\Backup
