Self-help but I need your help - what should I name my blog?

Help me name my blog!

I'm in the process of turning my life around and changing some really unhelpful mental habits and would like to start a blog basically about the things I'm learning and trying towards enjoying and living life more fully, feeling good in my own skin and having a positive attitude etc, hopefully to a) keep me motivated and on track with this and give me a place to record the journey and b) hopefully maybe give other people some ideas/inspiration. I'm thinking along the lines of each entry being about a little concept or something I've been thinking about or an idea I'm trying, maybe a question, rather than a "dear diary" overly personal to myself style.

I'd like something positive and catchy and easy to match with visual images, so I was thinking of something like "making life sweet" but less cheesy, but am open to any suggestions (on any theme) at all as long as you don't mind if I ultimately end up using your idea :)

A take on "making life sweet" that would be easy to do thematically: Spoonful of Sugar.

How about "back up"?

In the sense that you're getting yourself back up on your feet and the blog is a backup record for everything you're learning?

Since your username is Chrysalis, I'd go with a butterfly theme.*

Emerging from the .... Darkness? Shadows? Perhaps this is too goth-y.
Metamorphosis
Spreading my wings (erm, seems a little cheesy?)

Here's my stream of consciousness, perhaps it will spark something: breaking free, bursting forth, transformation, rebirth, from caterpillar to butterfly, on butterfly wings, on the wings of love (just kidding), imago (the word for adult butterfly), the word "butterfly" in a different language, the name of a species of butterfly.

*This was the theme for my wedding, so I am incredibly biased.

If your posts / articles will be seen as suggestions or advice, how about "A Grain of Salt"?

Another thing to think about are any hobbies or other passions you have that might leak into the standard day-to-day living. Say you enjoy knitting, you could go with some variation of "knit one, purl one, live one." If you enjoy cooking, it could be "Mastering the art of American Living."

This made me think of two songs that fall into this theme. One is “Unfold” by Jazon Mraz. It starts out this way:

Hands in line, arms close to my sides
And I’m fighting tides of an ocean’s undertow
And I figure that I might not make it

But by the end he is singing:

My hands are high, and I’m holding on
I’m holding out
And I figure that I just might make it
And I’m waking empty
But seldom sleeping
And the words repeat
Breathing histories into stories untold
And I unfold.

Fantastic song, subtle but hopeful.

And the other is “Sober” by Kelly Clarkson. There’s a line in that song that goes: Picked all my weeds but kept the flowers. Could you build on that? Call your blog “Picking my Weeds” or something to that effect? (Would fit even better if you enjoy gardening). Or, if you went with the first song, you might call it “Unfolding”. It also makes me think of peeling an onion...peeling off the layers of yourself that you don’t like. I know these aren’t very concrete answers but maybe they’ll help inspire you.

How about something around the concept of rebooting - "Life, Rebooted" or "LifeReboot" or something like that.

How about a railroad theme? A few concepts: Trains of thought, switching tracks, "all aboard," new destinations, tickets to ride, being an engineer/conductor of your own life, arrivals and departures. Some posts could extend the metaphor with concepts like baggage, hold-ups, schedules (and delays), traveling with fellow passengers, blowing the train whistle, pulling the emergency brake, having a one-track mind, running out of steam, etc. Hope you can find something useful in that stream of consciousness. :-)

or Happiness Happening

Rogue Sunbeam though because "sunbeam" sounds like a happy entity, lightheart thing, but then the "rogue" part lends a different quality - it translates to have a sense of tramp and you are trying to do the happiness thing for yourself. I assume in your journey you will sometimes get a little off track temporarily and be a "Rogue Sunbeam"
