Where does one learn about the CEP?

Where do I learn more about the Citizenship Education Program run by the Southern Christian Leadership Conference during the U.S. civil rights movement?

I am talking about the CEP first started at Highlander Folk School and later ran by the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. I have read plenty about both topics, but I want more indepth background on how the CEP operated. Ideally I want to read the curriculum and lesson plans of the CEP itself.

I am not an internet research wiz, so any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

(Bonus/additional points for any indepth info on other popular/social justice education models! of the past)

Have you considered contacting the SCLC?

I used to be a camp counselor at a summer camp on the grounds of and among the tragic ruins of the old Highlander Folk School. Sadly, most people had no idea of the history of the place.

That said, the Highlander organization still exists and I'm sure would be glad to discuss their history with you.
