How do you cook Japanese?

Cooking classes in Tokyo in October.

I'm off to Tokyo (and Kyoto) for a break from the 16th of October for a week. I don't mind me a bit of cooking, and would love to attend a cooking class while I'm there. What I'd love even more is a class that took in a trip to a local market to get produce, and then back to the kitchen to cook up a feast. Does anyone know of a Gaijin friendly class at all?

I've always wanted to take this soba noodle class since I read about it a few years ago.
