Is there a software command center for social networking sites?

Hey all, Just a quick question, here. Currently I am trying to manage a number of blog-esque sites, i.e. MySpace, Face book, Word press, and of course Metafilter. I was wondering if anyone knew of programs to help maximize my productivity when updating these. For example, I often post new songs I have created. Is there any program that would allow me to post an update across all my pages from one central hub? How about managing my messages from these sites? Any way to manage those in my regular email, or is there a program that could unify these? Basically I'm wondering if there is some type of "command station" program to help manage multiple sites like this one. Thanks in advance for any help! Hope you all had a great weekend.

I was just reading an article that listed the Top 10 sites of 2009 (by the end of the year) and it listed Power.com for this very reason.

Power.com isn't even in the top 200,000 on quantcast. Although it's 6,000 on Alexa, a very high discrepancy, but I think most people consider quantcast more accurate these days.

It scores less then metafilter on both sites. Plus of the sites mentioned, it only supports myspace.

Facebook has pretty ridiculous about not allowing 3rd party applications 'screen scrape' it's interface. You can write a facebook app and play in their sandbox, but if people write apps that sit on top of facebook and allow people to interact with the site that way they try to shut them down.

Well, one starting point is HelloTXT.com. Posterous.com can also post updates to multiple services (including self-hosted blogs).

Tarpipe.com is designed for exactly this sort of thing. I can't give any deep recommendation of the service as I've just joined, but it does have a very clever (if not over-ornate) blocks-and-pipes interface you can build to shuffle information around.

Posting an update across social networks is easy and there are dozens of tools to do that for you - google to find something that best fits your needs.

As for having all your communication in one please, I think you should look at the upcoming Threadsy. It seems to be pretty much what you're after.

I use png.fm too, but it only covers you updating your status/micro blogs. No help for posting songs, or answering messages or any of that.

For posting songs & gigs, I like ReverbNation. It's designed around a variety of embeddable widgets with FB and MySpace hooks as well.
