Film Scheduling Resources?
August 4, 2009 9:44 AM

Anyone know of some good freeware film scheduling software or templates?

I'm producing a short film in the next few months and I've lost the templates I usually use. They were old anyway, more for student filmmaking. Now I'm looking for software or paper templates that will help me keep things on track and make sure that, week by week, I'm getting done what needs to get done as we inch closer to the shoot dates.

Thanks!

Have you looked at Celtx? It is intended to be used for every stage of pre-production from scriptwriting up through shooting, but you might be able to import an existing script and make it do what you want..

Seconding Celtx. It's a really versatile program. And there's an active online support community.
