How should I build an online testing site?

I'd like to build a Web site that: asks users 50 specific yes/no questions, tallies their answers and then spits out a percentage answer at the end of the quiz. Are there any platforms/services out there (sort of like what Ning provides for social networks) that would help me build a test to share with my co-workers? The purpose my test is to help the test-taker to assess threats. Sample questions might include, 1.) Did the caller sound angry? 2.) Does the caller have a history of making threats? 3.) etc... I would want people to be able to go to this site and take the test over and over again if needed. Bonus points if: 1.) The importance of individual questions can be weighted differently, 2.) The test can be password protected, 3.) The platform let's me point a URL to my test, and 4.) The platform lets me add a logo / design elements to my test. Does such a platform exist? I found this in a previous Ask, and it meets most of your requirements: My Studiyo. I don't know if you meant you wanted your users to know what % they got right or wrong or you on the back end. This site provides that percentage option to you, but I think only lets your users see their score in points and ratios. In any case, it may work. It's also free and quizzes are embeddable.

I haven't used it in a while, but I did create a custom quiz for my boyfriend's birthday and it worked great.

I'm getting what I need for making online questionnaires at Zoomerang. I'm only using their free version, which doesn't have every feature you need, but maybe their for-pay version does.

DRUPAL could do this in several ways.


Modules Needed/ Available

1. Polls - Allow you to do this lickety split with Y/N answers etc...

2. QUIZ - more open ended, pretty

3. CCK and Fields - any combination and any output of questions and answers.

IE. I created a risk assessment for HIPAA technical safeguards using CCK and fields and then out put it into excel and ranked the risks by asking and combining various questions.

Yes, Hunch lets you create decision trees via a series of questions. I'm not sure about anything beyond that like logos and such. Also, it'll be public AFAIK.

Would any identifying information about "the caller" be entered into these tests or the results be recorded into the caller's file - if so, you may have to consider liability issues relating to protecting that information and that could be a factor which influences your design.
