To Boldly Go Swim, Bike and Run...

For a female friend:
Is there a source for off the shelf or custom made Star Trek inspired bathing suits or triathlon suits? I want to race for Team Starfleet.
FWIW, I was perusing my Performance catalog yesterday and noticed these jerseys that were merely an iron-on insignia away from looking like short-sleeve TOS uniforms. Yeah, they're listed in the men's department, and yes, they're not really tri-specific.

Which Star Trek? TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY, ENT?

TOS is best, but I like them all.posted by mmascolino at 10:15 AM on June 4, 2009
I’m not quite up for the whole Seven of Nine suit though. I’m only in the 5th week of training.

Don't feel bad- she was wearing a corset under it. ;)
But- have you thought about maybe posting an alchemy request on etsy? (where people request a custom item they want and etsy crafters submit bids for it)
Or, if you know someone who can sew, it's as simple as getting a red, gold, or blue suit and adding a band of black trim to the top for TOS. insignia patches are cheap and plentiful on ebay for all the different versions. (even the mirror universe and alternate timeline versions!)

I will be curious to see if there are off the shelf sources. I usually got my stuff made.
