That'd be Corylus avellana "Contorta", or contorted Hazelnut, or Henry Lauder's Walking Stick.

(No, I have no idea who Henry Lauder was, I just know it's been sold under this name commercially.)

Harry Lauder singing 'Roamin' in the Gloamin'. He used to perform with the comically crooked walking stick seen here.

[Gotcha, unSane. Thanks. Where it says "Henry" above, it should obviously say "Harry." My kid's name is Henry. I claim paternal pride as an excuse.]

Around here we call them "Corkscrew Hazelnut".
