What is this tree?

Hi, please help me try to identify this type of tree (bush? shrub?).

That'd be Corylus avellana "Contorta", or contorted Hazelnut, or Henry Lauder's Walking Stick.

(No, I have no idea who Henry Lauder was, I just know it's been sold under this name commercially.)

[Gotcha, unSane. Thanks. Where it says "Henry" above, it should obviously say "Harry." My kid's name is Henry. I claim paternal pride as an excuse.]
