How is the surname 'Cheij' pronounced?

I have a job interview next week, and the individual whom I have been instructed to contact has the surname Cheij. I would like to know how to correctly pronounce this.

When you get there, ask the receptionist.

Ask Mr/s Cheij when you greet them. It would show them you address problems head on.

Can you call his/her voicemail and listen to the recording to see if it's on there?

It's an Arabic name (there's a Druze leader named Cheij Abu Suleiman Ali al-Kademi and a Western Saharan named Mohamed-Salem Mohamed-Yeslem Cheij, among others), and my guess would be that it's a French transcription pronounced "shaydj" (rhyming with "rage"), but that's just a guess. Ask the receptionist.
