ProcrastinationFilter: What are some good search terms to plug into Youtube's search engine for an ample stream of entertainment?

Some good ones I've discovered: faceplant, heckler, crazy lady

Even better are covers, which YouTube is uniquely suited to. Plug in any song name plus "cover" and you'll find all manner of remakes and remixes on a variety of instruments and skill levels.

Pick a movie with some great dialogue, stick the title in the search box and check out the remixes. You can find a bunch more from different movies in the related videos frame. Good starters are Bert and Ernie Casino Style or Full Metal Jacket Elves. There's an entire sub-genre based on the Hitler-goes-crazy scene from Downfall

Pick your favorite band and search for: Bandname +early. There are videos of U2 from the 1970s that are comedy gold.

"Girl fight" is pretty funny/sad.

StumbleUpon is designed for this. It even has a Youtube channel.

How about some great circus skills videos to pass the time? These terms will get you to videos of (arguably) the world's best technical jugglers:

"World Juggling Federation"
"Olga Galchenko"
"Vova Galchenko"

I'm personally fond of "corgi." You could probably substitute any kind of animal you find sufficiently cute.

Baby eats lemon videos are hysterical.

My real guilty pleasure though is videos of dumb kids electrocuting themselves with anti-bark collars. Terms include shock collar and bark collar. My fave.

I am also very entertained by funny little kids, ideally singing too. Buhlud. Whatever baby. Charlie bit my finger. Karaoke baby. My humps.

Terms like cirque will get you "new circus" acts. Searching Cirkör will get you acts from the Swedish circus high-school. I saw their graduates at this show last week.

Also... tumbling, contact juggling and parkour.
