Where can I buy Yoshida & Co. Porter bags in New York City?

You could try the Head Porter shop in SoHo, but the selection won't be quite the same as what you can find in Japan. (Head Porter is a collaboration between Yoshida Kaban and Hiroshi Fujiwara.)

Ah finally I can contribute something worthwhile to the hivemind.

Steven Alan has a limited selection of Head Porter bags (www.stevenalan.com)

As for other stores, it's very very limited. I'm not quite sure if the Porter store within the Stussy store in SoHo is still open, I heard they moved locations.

You could always buy the bags through a proxy service. Check out www.head-porter.org for a pretty extensive selection of bags. The site is legitimate, so I have heard.
