Seeking calendar w/out year or days of the week.
September 29, 2008 8:08 PM
I want to have a permanent calendar-like book that lists all of my important annual stuff: birthdays, when to plant veggies, get car maintenance, make Xmas cards, etc., and I don't want to have to get a new one each year. What am I looking for?
What I want is a desk calendar with the dates, but without the days of the week. (For noting stuff like this.) My Google-fu is very weak on this one; can you help me, hive-mind?
(No, I don't want an online calendar for this. In our household, that may be more trouble than it's worth.)

You are looking for a perpetual calendar. I have a nice one that I use to keep track of birthdays.

The FranklinCovey undated calendar refills may work for you, with or without the binder.

I've found a better link. Many undated calendars here.

I have this perpetual calendar and have been doing just what you'd like to. The toughest thing (for me at least) is remembering to note things down. But so far, after three years, I have a good idea of when the leaves on our huge tree fall (spend day raking and call gutter cleaners!), when the roses bloom, when we turned the heat on/off, as well as birthdays and anniversaries. The line spaces aren't huge, but it's nice to look at. I find--as do friends who use one--that the bathroom is a great place to put it (with a pencil nearby).

In bookstores, it might be called a Birthday Book.

the perpetual calendars are close enough to what I was thinking of that that's what I think I'm going to do. I'm considering creating my own, just for fun. thanks!

For what it's worth, I think Google Calendar is the best option, and it can be printed whenever desired... But if you're definitely not into the online thing, DIYplanner is a good start.
