FB will not let mee select privacy on event

I'm not talking about changing it after the fact. I'm in the creation stages and it will not let me drop down a preference. It's as if nothing happens when I click

So. I put in the title, time and date, beginning and end, and moved on to privacy which I click but does nothing. It's bad enough that I had to pull the info out of my friend, now we can't proceed any further than time-date.

So, something is wrong, but what. And how do I fix it?

I'll be off line tonight till late but promise to clarify when I can.

I know little to nothing about The FaceTube, but sometimes when I have such a problem elsewhere it’s because they are using Yet Another Domain which I have to enable scripting on. If you’re not using any JavaScript-disabling stuff, never mind.

Agreed that this sounds like something is blocking the scripting. I'd disable any adblockers or similar tools you have and try again.

When something weird like this happened to me on Facebook a couple days ago, a few hours later it was fine.

If not, you can try clearing your cache, clearing cookies, etc. Could just be some gunk in your browser's memory.

Are you creating an event within a group? If so, could it be to do with the group’s wider privacy settings? (eg. Maybe a private group only lets you create private events?).
