My wife is having a crisis of confidence in her career -- how to help?

My wife (early 40's) is self-employed in a creative industry, and a huge part of her identity is wrapped up in her career. The slog of scraping together your own gigs, pursuing grant funding (so paltry in the U.S.), and a general sense of life having fewer "big break" opportunities for artists at her age and post-Covid is burning her out and her sense of self-worth is precarious. She's seeing a therapist she likes, but what can I do to help her regain her confidence (without getting sucked into a whirlpool of anxiety and hopelessness myself)?

A ton of electronic waste and some taxidermy.

My aunt passed away recently, and I am the trustee of her estate, so I'm coordinating the clean-out and sale of her home. She has a mix of things worth a little bit of value and things worth nothing at all. I'm not sure who to call or how to sequence things. [more inside]

Soundproofing a house against noise from outside - double pane windows?

Our 100 year old house faces a park. In the spring/summer, the park is used for festivals and celebrations featuring live and recorded music with a heavy base component. Gateways to Fictional Lands?

I'd like to compile a list of significant* fictional places with specific "gateways" or portals to access them, like the wardrobe for Narnia, the rabbit hole and looking glass for Alice, Platform 9 3/4 for Hogwarts, etc. I'm thinking more books or stories than TV, films, or games, but all are fine if it's something especially memorable / interesting. Can you help me find the way there? [more inside]

Looking for YouTube Channel Explaining World Theatre Traditions

Back in 2020, I stumbled across a YouTube channel that had 20 or more videos explaining Noh, Beijing Opera, Commedia dell'arte, Kathakali, Javanese, etc theatre traditions. I remember them as well made and rather thorough. I've tried various searches on YT but cannot find any series like I've described. Has anyone come across this channel?

Windows equivalent of thesweetsetup?

Where do Windows people go to find app reviews and recommendations? I'm trying to find a decent pomodoro/clock app and they're pretty terrible, let alone a calendar app. Apple's walled garden and comparatively small selection made it easy to find decent UI and features, but with Windows, I'm at sea. Please recommend review sites you trust. I don't need specific app recommendations but sites. [more inside]

Passenger door won't open!

I have a 2019 Ford Ecosport and suddenly out of nowhere, the driver-side passenger door will not open. It will unlatch, and I can force it open an inch or so, but it's behaving like the car was in an accident, and it was not. The other doors are all fine. Window rolls up and down fine. This happened after it was sitting in a public parking lot for 2 hours. Careful visual inspection shows nothing awry. I suppose I could get in the back seat and apply a ton of force by pushing with my legs but I'm leery of breaking it (more). Any ideas or sharing of experiences with this issue much appreciated!
