We have to drive from Belfast to London (taking the ferry to Stranraer, I think, unless you can think of a better way to go!) at the end of August/early September. We have young children who are hardly ever in cars (and will struggle with the long distances) and so will need to stop once, or probably twice, overnight. Ideas? General tips for car travel with kids? [more inside]

I'll be in Belfast for a couple of days soon, and will need somewhere to go for a good breakfast, ideally around or not far south of QUB. Early opening (8am or before) would be perfect. Can MeFi help? City centre suggestions also welcome. Thanks!

We're doing a bit of a wirlwind honeymoon trip to both Scotland and Northern Ireland and I can't figure out what to do with the last Saturday (March 17) of the trip in Belfast. Also, it will be St. Patrick's Day. Is this a good or bad thing? [more inside]
