Singing teacher

Does anyone have any recommendations for a singing teacher (individual or group) in the mid-Peninsula area? I am not seeking to audition for the SF Opera, but it would be wonderful to be able to carry a tune.

Two ideas that may help:

Churches- many churches have a paid choir or music director that may be willing to give voice lessons on the side.

High schools- find the choir director and inquire as to whether they have a list of private lessons teachers for the students that can be shared.
