SNES games to play with the wife?
Two-player Super Nintendo game suggestions for me and the wife? Puzzle games welcome.
So far:
Tetris: Ok... obviously a classic
Tetris Attack: Not bad, got a little old
TMNT Turtles in Time: Fun for 20 minutes
Tecmo Super Bowl: I love it, a little much for her
Mario Kart: Love it... the "Vs Battle" is a little more fair since I've logged wayyyy too many match race hours compared to her.
Any more suggestions?

Street fighter is a favorite of mine.
Super Street Fighter II was the best for the SNES.

First off, I completely agree with Diskeater: Super Mario World is absolutely a great game to play with someone else (or alone for that matter).
In the same vain, if you can get your hands on Super Mario All-Stars, your sure to have nostalgic fun playing through the 3 NES Marios with your wife; my wife and I sure did.
Another suggestion: Donkey Kong Country. Greatness.
And, on preview, I'm thirding Super Bomberman.

My friend and his wife loved playing Final Fantasy 3 together (cooperatively).

Oooh. Super Bomberman! Rack up another vote for that.
Dr. Mario was fun. Any of the Streetfighter or Mortal Kombat series. Donkey Kong Country is okay. I've wasted weeks of my life playing Gradius with friends and SOs, so I know that one is a good 2-player game.
Damn. Now I want to drag my SNES out of the back room and play all night. :)

The game that sucked me into the gamer world was Legend of Zelda: Ocharina of time. Yes, I realize it's a one-player game - just sayin. But thinking back, a couple of other games that sucked me in were GoldenEye and Mario Golf. Mario Kart is very awesome.
Also a 2nd/3rd/whatever for Mortal Kombat, Streetfighter or anything like those. Basically, anything where I could electronically kick my significant other's ass worked. Which is why I loved GoldenEye, I think. I could sneak up on him and hit him with several rounds before he saw me. Try it. It gets your aggression out. =)

damnjezebel, the poster asked about SNES games, not N64. Though I definetly loved all the games you mention!

While good, these are N64 games (except for MarioKart which started as a SNES game).
CONTRA 3: Alien Wars
^This is one of the best co-op games ever made for SNES. Ever made period. It's super challenging too, so it might take a while to beat. Get it and play it, I think you'll be glad you did.

Whups! Sorry guys, I had someone else typing and she just asked what games I liked and didn't specify it was SNES only - but I'm glad to see that the games I did list aren't as "babyish" as I thought.
For Super Nintendo, I actually had a lot of fun with various wrestling games, Super Mario Kart and Super Mario World. and..... I think Yoshi's Island. But Super Mario World is like cocaine to me - I'm not allowed to turn it on unless I can kill the whole day with it. It's that damned music! It sucks you in and spits out your soul!
... and now I think I might bust it out tomorrow and play. Damn ya'll.
(ooo! Because of all the talk about Super Bomberman, I must check it out.)

I'm gonna say Super Bomberman too. It never gets old.
Kirby Superstar is one of my favorite snes games ever. It's a two player game, and it also has fun mini-games.

Another vote for Super Bomberman. 2 or 3 seems to be the best, but I've only played some of them on an emulator.

Killer Instinct remains my all-time favorite fighting game, and is the reason why I still have calluses on my left thumb ten years later.

While this is a different genre all together, my boyfriend and I occassionally pop in the Jeopardy! game for the SNES (abeit, it's on an emulator) and see how well we do against 1980s and 1990s trivia.
