Yoga class recommendation in London?
I've been searching for a yoga studio in London and have been overwhelmed by information that isn't all that helpful. I'm looking for all-levels classes, both Hatha and Ashtanga, and preferably in South Kensington. Other locations welcome if you know of anywhere great. A bonus would be somewhere not full of yoga-nazis. Thanks!

John Stirk runs a weekly class in Holland Park. He's a fantastic teacher and his inquisitive, unconventional approach won't appeal to 'yoga-nazis' or Madonna wannabees, but I wouldn't recommend it for beginners.

While in London on holiday I took one class at the Iyengar Yoga Institute in Maida Vale--not too far from Kensington, and near a tube stop.
I enjoyed the class, though it was slower than the one I go to at home. My friend said it felt more like a "clinic" on a few poses than a class with a regular sequence.
Iyengar tends to be very specific about getting positions just so, plus there are great black and white pictures of Mr. BKS Iyengar on all the walls--is that what you mean by yoga nazis? Even so, I'd describe it as friendly and accessible, and the building is beautiful.
