Experiences with the Vivos Method

I'm a lady in my late 40s who grinds my teeth at night. Over the years dentists have addressed this with a custom nightguard (which I wear religiously), fillings, and more recently, crowns. I just had an intake appointment with a new-to-me dentist who wants me to get a series of CT scans to look for misaligned bones and fit me for a new device, which I understand is known as the Vivos Method. She says that this will eliminate the need for more crowns and root canals.
Naturally, insurance covers none of this. I had never heard of this before today, and assumed cracking teeth and crowns were just a normal part of aging. Does anyone have experience with this? Did it work for you?
