Iceland -- Planning around Commerce Day?

My siblings and I are going to Iceland next week! We're staying in Reykjavik Sunday-Wednesday, but we just realized Monday is Commerce Day. We had been planning on bumming around the city on Monday and then doing the Golden Circle on Tuesday. Should we stick with that plan or switch the two days around? From my quick Google, seems like the main attractions on the Circle would be open but probably extra crowded with domestic tourists, while in town a lot but not all of the touristy things will be open. [Also, any recommendations for Reykjavik Commerce Day happenings on Monday or Pride on the 10th would be welcome!]
