Nudity in Baldur's Gate 3?

Players of BG3: What's the nudity like in Baldur's Gate 3, really? How much of an issue is it?

I think I'd like to play Baldur's Gate 3, but learning that it has some explicit nudity has put me off a bit; I'd be playing it on a shared computer in my home's living area. I understand that one can turn the nudity and explicit content off. How well does that work? Does it have much impact on other aspects of the game?

(This feels like such a silly question to ask, but my google-fu is getting me only pseudo-shocked Twitch streamers and some transphobia on Reddit.)

Best answer: As far as I've experienced, the nudity in the game is contained to optional sex scenes and the portion of character creation where you're configuring your character's bodily characteristics. I've been playing for 80+ hours and probably only encountered a couple of seconds of nudity. I doubt the game experience would have changed much with the censor settings on.

That said, if you're worried about not-family-safe content, the game is fully voiced and there's a whole lot of talk about murder and other dark themes on the violence side of the spectrum, so headphones might be a good idea.

Best answer: If you turn off "Show genitals" you wont even have the option to see nudity in character creation. There is also an option to turn off cinematic nudity. I have studiously avoided all romantic encounters in the game so I cant tell you how the romantic cinematics work with nudity turned off, but I'll bet they go through the motions or whatever but with their pajamas on.

Best answer: Can confirm; nudity is totally optional, as are the romances where said nudity would be featured.
