I want a tool to track "Things I Should be doing"

I want a tool or an App to record the times I do a few specific things, to make sure that I actually do the things. I don't want to plan in specific times, I just want to be able to see (in possibly relatively abstract terms) how successful I have been in actually doing these things.

I assume this sort of thing exists, but I need search terms or suggestions.

Things I want to track are:
Weekly Scale (go to the gym 3 times or Date night or play guitar)
Monthly Scale (Go for a night out somewhere)
Maybe even Daily Scale?

Best answer: Are you looking for a habit tracker?

Response by poster: In retrospect, this was obvious. Thanks.

If you're an Apple person, Streaks is a good one.

I use Loop Habit Tracker on Android (maybe also called Habits?), and it's fantastic — mostly that the user interface is really clean and clear, and you can see great weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly data on your persistence.

I think it's free & open source, though I might have paid some small amount for it a dozen years ago
