Durable, portable storage for CCG cards?

My son is constantly hauling his Pokemon cards around to trade and going through a steady stream of binders and card pocket pages, none of which seem up to being regularly manhanded by an 11 year old and his friends. Is there a good, durable, portable solution here?

I've seen toolboxes similar to these parts organizers in use in game stores.

You'll want to double-check the sizes of the cards (including sleeves, if applicable) against the compartments, since different card games use different dimensions.

When my kid and their friends are carrying cards around like that, they seem to use these plastic deck boxes (the cheap colored plastic ones, specifically) from one of the companies that makes the binder sheets. For more fanciness, the boxes can go into a dedicated case.

I bought cardboard deck boxes for my boys from the local comic book store. They come in different sizes, are cheap, and can take some beating. They keep their common cards in the boxes, and the fancy special ones in binders. They also have some smaller plastic deck boxes as well for carrying around.
