Tello QC, Gamsir Controller

I recently bought a Tello quadcopter by Ryze. It shares technology and design features with DJI so I expect it to be well made and perform well. Rather than use my phone, I wanted to use the recommended controller, the Gamesir T1d. But I had to buy it separately, It didn't come with the QC.

I can't get the controller to connect to the QC. And I can't find clear instructions on how to connect them. Controllers are said to be much better at controlling a QC than phones, in terms of responsiveness, less latency, etc. Can someone help me find a clear and simple explanation or instructions for making the two work together?

Looking at the controller, I'd assume that it's a bluetooth device that connects to your phone and both the drone and the controller would need to be paired to the phone in order for this to work, at which point the Tello app on the phone would send your controller inputs to the drone.

Best answer: Did you try the instructions on Gamesir's website?
