Book search: non-fiction, early American colonies

I have been seeing Facebook ads for a newly published book that interested me, but I can't identify it again. It was a nonfiction book about the murder of a little girl by her mother, which took place in the 1600s or early 1700s in a New England colony. I had thought the title was "Wicked Gashes," from a description in the court records, but that isn't it, and without the girl's name or more details, I can't find it. Can you?

Best answer: Not familiar with the book, but I think I might have found it—Diverse Gashes?
