Help remembering childhood board game

I am trying to figure out if this board game involving dogs and sausages I remember is real.

I am trying to remember the name of a board game I had as a child (early 90s) and google is failing me. What I remember is that there were cards with different kinds and numbers of illustrated sausages on them. At least some of the sausages were connected to each other in one long casing knotted between sausages. I think that there were also dogs in the game and the dogs were collecting the sausages? There was also a board, but I have no memory of how game play worked, if there were dice or anything else involved. Did this actually exist?

Best answer: Just googling with the limitation site:boardgamegeek.com, I see there's "Hot Dogs for Lunch," one of the games in 4 First Games: rules; one version of the board. I also see Sausage Sprint.

Response by poster: Amazing. You got it! That “one version of the board” is exactly what I remember.
