Help Me Find a Thesis Written in Psychology About Maternal/Infant Gazing

The thesis resides somewhere on the internets in PDF format, written by a man for a doctorate in psychology about the hypothesis that a mother's emotional state can negatively influence her infant with initial eye contact, and through this relay a so-called *evil eye*.

The phrase *evil eye* does in fact, appear in the thesis. It goes into great detail on the process of how this energy is transferred from mother to baby. I had it on my computer - and then lost it and can't find it anywhere on the web. Can you help me find it? It's a fascinating read. TIA

I found these by using "mutual gaze" mother infant and "evil eye" as search terms:

Could it be this? Or this?

Another one:
midwives

If none of these work, maybe they cite the study you remember.

I'm a reference librarian. A couple of days ago a patron was looking for a study that he was certain took place in Sheboygan and included the term "time study". I found it, but it wasn't Sheboygan it was Eau Claire, and it wasn't described as a "time study".

Response by poster: Hi, alas no. The word *evil* is definitely contained within and the author is male. That much I remember. Thank you though for putting in the effort.
