Post Pimsleur Spanish III Learning?

I have limited access to spanish speakers, but have finished the Pimsleur Spanish I,II,III CD courses as well as Michel Thomas's Spanish CD. Where do I go from here to continue my spanish learning? I'm looking for specific recommendations for courses, books, CDs, etc!

I enjoyed using the espanglish chat room. You are there with Spanish speakers who want to practice English and vice versa.

Use a search engine and type "espaƱol foro" and another term of interest to you. There are tons of spanish forums out there. Don't stick with one generic language exchange forum.

After you get a good grounding in a language (as you seem to have, having completed an advanced level course), why not try the language out for a test drive?

I agree with the above advice. Find some forums, chat rooms, read newspapers in Spanish, watch Univision if you can get it.

Supermemo is great for memorizing vocab.

Read Spanish literature. Reading builds vocabulary and forces you to think. If you can't go and live in Spanish speaking country and don't have access to Spanish speakers, this is the next best thing. Do you have a Spanish language television station in your town? Watching the news in Spanish is a great way to build comprehension.

I am about halfway through the Pimsleur Spanish 1 audiocassette course. I would appreciate chatting with anyone who has completed this Spanish 1 course, or perhaps is about where I am. Sometimes it gets confusing and I need more saturation in recalling words quicker, as needed in real conversations. I am at my computer between 19:00 and 20:00 PDT usually most evenings. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have the headphone/voice module for live speech, which is preferred; as you know the Pimsleur is an audio learning resource and my spelling would be guesswork. If there is a better time for you, please advise. My email is stephenkent49@sbcglobal.net

Muchas Gracias,
