Can you identify this font?

Can you identify the font in this (cleaned up) image? The person I'm asking for swears the PE is a built-in ligature and this font has a lot of ligatures.

Someone I play D&D with had a laptop die on them and can't remember at all where they got this font. I tried the identi-font things I know about (which are few).

Are you doubting the ligature, or just presenting that as evidence about the font? Because the PE could very well be a ligature. There are many fonts now that use opentype and have many, many alternatives for each character or combination of characters.

If your friend bought the font, they should have a receipt somewhere that would name the font.

Does your friend remember if it was a free font from a site like dafont or 1001 Fonts?

I would search on the letters W H I N B D to get the basic font style.

Also reddit has a font forum, have you tried there?

More the latter.

I have no further information about the font beyond what's in the question.

I have now!

It isn't the same font, but if you want something similar, Fiddums Family comes close
