What is this weird gross bug?

Here's a photo. It appears to have eight legs and and another pair of extra-long appendages that look like legs. It's about an inch long. What is it?

Last night my wife saw a creepy-looking bug skittering away behind her pillow. It was visible for just long enough to determine that its continued existence under our bed would make sleep impossible. I trapped it and can't figure out what it is.

I had these guys following me all over Vegas one summer, it was horrible, they get significantly larger than 1 inch.

They wont hurt you any more than a spider would. Leave them alone and they will stay out of your way. If you dont want them in the house take them outside. They prefer to be outside anyway, this one is most likely in the house by accident.
