I'm looking for a Joomla module or best way that lets admins create links to articles on a sidebar that can be nested/indented and ordered however the admin likes. Ideally it would be about as easy as managing a Wordpress menu. Right now, the site uses the ArticlesCategory module with a custom template for this, but getting the categories just right is getting unmanageable and messing with the breadcrumbs in some cases.
Google's really failed me on this one. There are a lot of 'article list' modules, but none of them seem to handle the nesting. It seems like custom HTML is the only good way to do this right now, which doesn't seem right. I'm willing to pay for a premium plugin but don't have the budget to develop it myself. If there's a good way to use existing Joomla menus to do this, I'm happy to hear about that option as well.
