Suggestions for childrens foreign language vocab books?

I would like to know what the standard children's books, specifically vocabulary learning books for babies and toddlers, are in each language.

'leçons de choses' on flickr leçons de choses is beautiful and a good example of what I mean.

Thank you!

Wiele wiele stap and Ik zie je wel, ik hoor je wel are classic Dutch children's books by Miep Diekmann. A Google Image search will show some of the illustrations, like this one.
