Ruzzle Tournament Rules

For the iPhone game Ruzzle - what are the rules of the new tournament gameplay mode?

Ruzzle is one of my favorite games on my phone. It is a Boggle type game.

There was a recent update to the game that added "tournament mode" of game play. However, as far as I can tell, there are no rules anywhere.

I feel like the rules are probably simply, and thus not posted - but I don't get it. When you play in individual round in the game, you get a score. But you have a different score for the tournament. Sometimes when you play a round in the tournament, your tournament score changes and sometimes it does not change.

It is fairly aggravating that there are no rules for how the tournament works. I even tried to email the developers, but got back some canned answer. Basically, they blew off my question.

Not being able to understand how the tournament rules work is starting to drive me crazy. It is starting to make me dislike my favorite game.

Does the hive mind know? Does anyone anywhere understand the rules to the new Tournament Mode in the game Ruzzle for iPhones? Help.

Best answer: The score changes if you best your previous posted score in a 24 hour period. If you play a current round and you score less than your previous score, the higher score still remains. Does that make sense to you? I'm on Ruzzle as ziggymoo, let's play!!

Response by poster: Thank you Ramix - so, in the tournament, we are playing the same few boards over and over?
I sent you a game request on ruzzle.
