UK licensing laws: new hours

UK BingeFilter: Noting the onset of the glorious expansion of licensed hours* in England this week, is there anywhere I might find information on what licenses pubs in a particular area have, short of trailing round the whole town?

Do licensing authorities produce any kind of public record/put it up anywhere on the internet?

Try your local council website. Mine (Lambeth) doesn't have a full list but it does show pending license applications, which was useful when a restaurant near my flat wanted to change its hours.

Response by poster: Cheers, I found a list of places and whether they've got conversions or variations. I'd been fruitlessly searching under my town name and had forgotten we have an odd district council name. As far as I can work out variations imply a change from the old standard hours and their seem to be a lot, which is good. Looks like I'll have to just keep my eyes open for actual changes in hours by pub though.

Well, you could phone the pubs (just saying... that's what I'd do).
