Should I Get Little Big Planet 3?
I'm a 360 convert, so I have no experience with the previous Little Big Planet games. My uninformed understanding is that they are kind of like the ToyBox tool in Disney Infinity, and that there is a platforming element to the pre-made levels.
I have a 6-yr old son, and we have really enjoyed playing the Lego games together, and he also loves Disney Infinity. One issue I have with Disney Infinity 1.0 is that the ToyBox creations don't really seem like games. There is no "game" there; you just build things and then run around until you get bored.
So, my question: should I get LBP3 for us? I know there is a lot of shareable content, but are the user-created levels fun? Are they games with "victory conditions" or just playroom type things?
Any help or info is greatly appreciated!

fffm: LBP3 is being released for the Playstation 3, same day as the PS4 (November 18). Now you have no excuse.

Except for current lack of a PS3, but they're dropping in price. Hmm, my sister was asking me what I want for Christmas...

Response by poster: Oh, to clarify: I have a PS4 already. I would not be buying a PS4 for the express purpose of playing LBP3. I went from an XBox 360 to a PS4, which is why I referred to myself as a 360 convert.
Sidenote: OMG you guys The Last of Us is like the best game ever. Holy smokes.

The user-created levels, if they've followed the same patterns as the first two, will run the gamut from bizarre and useless, to victory-condition levels that outclass the originals, to interesting exploits of the software, to fun little play areas. Each of the packaged levels has a victory condition.
Making your own levels is so much fun I can't even. If your son likes the Lego games, he will love any of the LBPs. (If money isn't a huge object, perhaps buy a PS3 and the first two games cheap before shelling out on a PS4.)
